2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data generated when the website is accessed on my behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When this website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary information. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referrer URL, browser type, operating system and access status.

The processing serves to provide the website securely and reliably, to analyse errors and to prevent abusive access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website. Log data are stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and are then deleted or anonymised.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries sent via the contact form, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

4. Contact by email and telephone

If you contact me by email or telephone, I process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry and for further communication. Where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in handling incoming enquiries properly.

The data are deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and there are no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for further storage.

5. Contact form

Via the contact form, you can send me your name, email address, the reason for your enquiry, the type and location of the property and, optionally, your telephone number, the service you require, a message and how you heard about me. Mandatory fields are marked as such.

The information is transmitted to the web server in encrypted form and forwarded from there exclusively by email to my mailbox. The form contents are not stored in a database on the web server. The web server and the mailbox are operated by IONOS SE as processor (see section 2).

The data are used exclusively to handle your enquiry and to contact you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as the enquiry serves to enter into or perform a contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Section 4 applies accordingly to deletion.

Together with your enquiry, the following is transmitted: the page of this website from which you opened the form and, where applicable, the name of an external website from which you came directly to the form, as well as identifiers in the link through which you accessed this website (so-called UTM parameters, for example in a link from a Google Business Profile). This information is forwarded by email exclusively together with your enquiry and serves to attribute the enquiry and to improve the website. No cookies are set for this purpose, no information is stored on your device and no analytics services are used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in classifying incoming enquiries and improving the service.

To protect against automated spam submissions, the form contains a check field invisible to humans and a time check. No external services (such as Google reCAPTCHA) and no cookies are used for this.

6. Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use comparable technologies to store information on your device.

7. Fonts, analytics and marketing services

The website uses system fonts already available on your device; no font files are loaded from external services. No web analytics, tracking or marketing services are used, and no external Google Fonts are loaded.

8. Map services

No maps from Google or other external map services are embedded on this website. The map links on the contact page lead to Google Maps only after a deliberate click. Google Ireland Limited is responsible for the data processing there.

9. External links

This website contains links to external services, for example official property and standard land value portals, professional institutions and proof of qualifications. You leave this website only when you click such a link. The respective provider of the external service is generally responsible for the subsequent data processing.

10. Recipients of data

Personal data are disclosed only insofar as this is necessary to handle your enquiry, to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations or for the technical operation of the website. The recipient in the context of data processing on my behalf is, in particular, IONOS SE as hosting and email provider. No transfer to third countries outside the EU or EEA is intended.

11. Storage period

Personal data are stored only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose. In addition, statutory commercial and tax retention obligations may require longer storage. Once the purpose no longer applies and the relevant retention periods have expired, the data are deleted.

12. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, a message to info@jk-wertermittlung.de is sufficient.

13. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for the controller is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Maternistraße 17, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

Status: October 2026. This privacy policy will be updated if the website, the services used or legal requirements change.
