Handled personally
Inspection, valuation and professional responsibility lie with one fixed point of contact.

I have been valuing property since 2005 – more than 700 instructions, from detached houses to a paper mill. I handled every one of them personally.

Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. (FH) with a background in construction and economics. Independent property valuer since 2005 – from residential property to complex commercial and industrial sites.

What matters is not only the figure that ends up on paper. Just as important is who determines it, on what basis, and whether the assumptions, methods and results can be explained clearly.
JK-Wertermittlung is not an anonymous valuation portal. I handle the professional work on my instructions personally – from understanding the task through the site inspection and research to deriving and explaining the result.
Inspection, valuation and professional responsibility lie with one fixed point of contact.
Valuation inputs are not simply taken from tables in isolation; they are related to the property, the task and the local property market, and checked for plausibility.
Structural characteristics, possible uses and the economic context are considered together.
Questions from clients and third parties involved are part of valuation practice. What matters is that the derivation can be explained clearly.
My path to property valuation did not begin with my training as a valuation expert. I studied industrial engineering with a focus on construction and then worked as a project engineer, project manager and branch manager for a property developer operating across several regions.
This combination of technical construction knowledge and economic thinking still shapes my work today. The value of a property is determined neither by its building fabric alone nor by figures alone. What matters is the interplay of property, use, legal framework and the local property market.
My professional foundation combines a university degree, practical experience in construction, more than two decades of valuation practice and examined training in property valuation.

Expert for the valuation of developed and undeveloped land (TÜV)
The training at TÜV-Akademie Rheinland concluded with an examination by the personnel certification body PersCert TÜV. The areas examined included property valuation, the areas of law relevant to valuation and construction fundamentals, as well as the sales comparison, cost and income approaches.
The final examination comprised a written examination, the review of a deliberately flawed valuation report and the preparation of a short report.

EIPOS – the European Institute for Postgraduate Education – has specialised in part-time professional development, particularly in construction, since 1990 and belongs to TUDAG TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft.
The advanced training “Property valuation expert – Level II” that I completed deepens property valuation in particular with regard to more complex property types, special valuation purposes and questions of land law. It concluded with a final examination after 131 contact hours.
